This week started off by a wonderful trip to see an alumni from the University of Wyoming. She currently attends the school of Laban Trinity for dance science. This is a school I am currently looking into for the same graduate program she is doing! She offered to give us dancers a tour of the school and showed us around the Greenwich area. I really enjoyed this area and it couldn't have been a more beautiful day.

After our adventure in Greenwich, we decided to take a boat back to London Bridge! This was so much fun to see the main sites of London while being on the Thames!

This week I also went to The Lion King with AIFS! I am always up for a good musical. The costumes, set, and lighting really took you to Africa. It was amazing how realistic the animals looked!

Overall, this week was wonderful!! Just as any other week is when you are in London!

Yet another week of adventures in London to share! Last weekend my roommate and I decided to try and fit in with true Londoners and go to Portobello market. As freezing as it was, the market was amazing! We were there for three hours and didn't even make a dent. There is so much, from old to new, and lots of food too! It was slightly dangerous for me though; because you can bargain with the vendors, and they are looking to make sales, you can get some really nice things for pretty cheap. This causes me to think, "well it is really nice quality, and I wouldn't be able to get it for this price anywhere else" and, of course, I end up buying it. Let's just say I may have spent a little too much...but I did get items I have been wanting for a while now.

This week we also went on the "Unseen Camden Night Tour." Again, as freezing as it was, it was a really interesting tour, led by a formally homeless man. It was really eyeopening to hear a story of a man who was homeless just because he was working at the wrong place at the wrong time, not because of personal choices. The recession hit hard, and even people who were well off before became homeless during it. This tour of Camden, which takes you around some 'hidden' areas shows you a lot of Celebrities houses and famous restaurants visited by Celebrities. We also saw this amazing view of the city!

The other important thing about the tour is that it is only given by formally homeless people, as a way for them to make money.

On Friday, I went on a tour of Bath! Wow! This was so interesting and amazing to see. The museum took us through the baths and ruins of an ancient Roman city. It is incredible to see what they were capable of way before access to any technology. At the end of the tour, we got to try the mineral water. All I can say is there are definitely a lot of minerals in there. Ick. According to the Romans, however, the water is supposed to have magical curing powers...so maybe it was worth the awful taste.

Here are some photos of Bath!!
